The Genre
The genre of this type of music is mainly Indie or alternative to Indie-Rock. It is aimed generally at younger people who would mainly listen to this genre as most of artists and songs above is music that is enjoyed and appreciated by a young audience. However, the type of audience which would listen to indie music differs between ages as the older generation wouldn’t necessarily listen to the pacific genre of music and artists which they grew up with as they would also appreciate this particular style of music. For example, nowadays, they would be interested in indie bands such as Cold-Play and Sterophonics who are considered classic indie bands of today.

Also, the songs shown which are sung by artists such as The Script and The Kooks and solo artists such as James Morrison and Newton Faulkner who have been hugely popular during this decade, are recognised as the genre of Indie too.

Stereotypes
Overall, Indie music seems to be getting more popular with the young generation and therefore stereotypical Indie bands such as The Kooks, The Script, The Killers and solo artists, such as Newton Faulkner and James Morrison. However, although the genre which the songs above reflect indie, some of the songs which I have chosen to be in my ultimate sound-track include elements of Pop music.

Photo-shoot table

Here I will now post a selection of the pictures which I took myself during the photo-shoot which lead to the creation of my music magazine. The successful pictures which I took are shown with also some of the pictures which I felt were not good enough to present on the front cover, contents page and the double-page spread. The pictures which I used are circled.
